CESKY KRUMLOV - very well preserved Renaissance medieval town in Southern Bohemia. Dominating castle over the Vltava river, narrow cobblestone streets, romantic houses. 3 hours from Prague.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kutna Hora

 

KUTNA HORA - a small town of medieval silver wealth including the Cathedral of St Barbara, Cathedral  of the Assumption of Our Lady and Ossuary. 1 hour and 20 min. from Prague.

 

 

 

 

Krivoklat

 

KRIVOKLAT - originally a hunting royal castle from the 13th century. Castle interiors include a Gothic painting collection, hunting weapons, prison, torture chamber.  1 hour from Prague.

 

 

 

Karlovy Vary

 

KARLOVY VARY - one of the most beautiful spa centers in Europe. The oldest golf club in the country.  Moser glass-works.  Approx. 2 hours from Prague.

 

 

 

 

Terezin Memorial

TEREZIN MEMORIAL - World War II concentration camp for Jews from all of  Europe used by Nazis as transfer camp to Auschwitz. 1 hour from Prague.

 

The trip can be combined with a visit of nearby town Litomerice and have lunch here or a small town Ustek featuring a unique recently restored synagogue .
